Welcome to KEIRA,KAYDENCE,EMMA and families who have joined us this month – please feel free to ask any questions you may have; we are sure you will enjoy your time at the Centre.

Please remember if you have not brought it in yet, Comfort Kits are due in as soon as possible.
Infant Toddler
In March the theme was is going to, Spring and related topics like types of flowers, bugs etc. Of course we also awaited the Easter Bunny for the egg hunt along with easter baskets – hope you had a lots of fun with the crafts that the children made and brought home.
In April we will continue and expand our theme of Spring , including Wild Life and Earth Day related topics too. Children will make crafts and painting to reflect these topics.
April showers will be here but we will endeavour to spend time outside the classroom to the trails and parks next to the Centre for picnics and play.
Daycare Montessori
The children ended the month of March with a party including a movie and popcorn. Thank you to all the parents for sending snack items for the party. The children enjoyed an egg hunt and made Easter baskets to take home.
During April the children will focus on wildlife and Earth , learning about different wild animals and conservation and the importance of balance in the protection of Earth. Look forward some interesting crafts coming home!
April Showers, Spring Flowers – children will also learn about flowers and different parts of a flower together with plants and what plants need to grow.
As well, during April we will continue with the Fun Family Phonics program covering the letters up T,U,V - letters and suggestions for show and tell for this month are:
T-turtle, T-rex, Thomas the Tank Engine, Tiana (frog princesses)
U-umbrella, unicorn, up
V-violets, vegetables, vase

REMINDERS TO ALL OUR PARENTS:
1. Please ensure your child has indoor shoes which they change into when they arrive at the Centre and which stay at the Centre when leaving.
2. Please have a change of clothes at the Centre , in case they are needed.
3. Please label all you food containers and let us know if any food needs to be heated (note also: as you are aware, ours is a ‘NUT-FREE’ Centre.)
4. Please arrive on time especially if your child is attending the Montessori – this helps keep disruption to the minimum.
5. Please inform us immediately if there are any changes eg address, telephone, contacts.
6. Please ensure you look at your child’s cubby when you are leaving and take home their work etc.
7. Please inform us as early as possible (by 9am – would be great) if your child is not attending the Centre that day.
8. May we also suggest that you drop-off your child and leave soon thereafter. This makes the transition much easier and conducive to good start to the day, both for the staff and the children.
